Accessibility Statement for RAP Plumbing
RAP Plumbing wants every homeowner and business owner in our service area to be able to find plumbing help online, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Making Our Website Usable for Everyone
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and people with mobility, cognitive, or learning disabilities.
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a box we check once. We review the site as pages are added and changed, and we fix problems as we find them or as visitors tell us about them.

How This Website Is Built for Accessibility
We designed and built this site with accessibility in mind from the start. Here's what that looks like on every page.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on links, buttons, and form fields
- Text and buttons are checked for color contrast against the backgrounds they sit on
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Pages use a clear heading structure and labeled landmarks so screen reader users can move around quickly
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are explained in text, not by color alone
- Animation is reduced or switched off when your device asks for reduced motion
- Buttons and links are sized for comfortable tapping on phones and tablets
- The layout adapts to any screen size and still works when you zoom in

Content From Other Providers
Some parts of this website come from other companies, such as the embedded Google map and reviews posted on Google. We choose providers with care, but we don't control how their content is built, and it may not fully meet the same standard. If any of it gets in your way, let us know and we'll get you the same information another way.
Tell Us About an Accessibility Problem
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you'd like information in a different format, please contact RAP Plumbing. Call us at (925) 342-2150 or email [email protected], and tell us which page you were on and what happened. You can always call us to schedule service or ask a question instead of using the website.
